"Breakfast", oil on paper
Here's a prime example what an artist is NOT supposed to do. I doodled my teapot on a scrap of paper. I then decided to paint it, using oil paint on this unprepared paper. As you can see the oil soaked into the paper. Inspired artists doesn't always think on every technical aspect!
